Yea its no problem. I do all my coloring in Photoshop. I have 20 markers I can find, if any more show up I'll add them in. Honestly though... if you ever decide to do your coloring in Photoshop/ Painter, etc... you won't ever want to go back to coloring by hand.

You'd really give me markers?! Oh boy! LOL As long as you're sure you wouldn't miss them, I wouls SO take them!!! You are awesome!

Prismacolor markers are great. I have a ton you can have if you want them... I do all of my coloring on PC so they just sit in a box now. I'll get with Jeff and see when we are all off of work. I guess the other big markers among anime people are copic art markers but man.... at $5.00 a piece they are a little too expensive for me. A basic set is like $300.00 or something. Anyhow... I better get back to work. I am coloring some stuff in Photoshop now.

No, not at all! Actually, I'd *really* like to see your process if you think that would be possible. I like drawing on paper too, my whole thing is coloring. I have lots of sketches but not too many are colored! What I'd really like to do is learn how to use markers real well. I've got one of those little baby packs of Prismacolors and they're awesome, but there's only 5... XD But yeah. I'm just wanting to expand. But yeah, that would be awesome, seeing how you do it all. About coming to see you, I just need a couple weeks notice to make sure I'm off from work, or tell Jeff and he can ask me. I'm usually off on weekends but sometimes have to work here and there. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon!

Well... I am kind of an old fart- My whole method in a nutshell is to layout and draw the art on eon board using nothing more exotic than a mechanical pencil and when the lineart is ready to be inked (too many tools to mention), scan it into Photoshop 7. I then edit the pencil lineart, making tweaks here and there before I print out a copy to ink. I then print out the "pencils" in non-repro blue (on my 11x17+ printer, on Eon board) so I have an intact copy in case I mess up the inking, etc... then when the inks are done I scan back in and color digitally. I don't claim to be a master artist but I do have a pretty solid drawing method.

I have never used a tablet. I like the feel of physically drawing on the paper. Also- inking, I mean REAL INKING, of professional quality (detail, lineweight, depth, etc...) just can't be done on a tablet- it isn't natural I say! Maybe I am too much of a traditionalist though...

Sure, that would be awesome! I have a tablet but I suck and haven't even taken it out of the box yet... O.o But yeah, that would be cool! Do you have drawing programs? If so, what do you use?

If you and Jeff *ever* find the time to come back down I will try to show you what little I know about drawing and computer coloring. If your interested that is. I would like to see some of the experience I have gained go to good use.
